Organisational Membership of the BACP

Independent Complaints Board

The Complaints Board will investigate any unresolved complaints the organisation may receive from its students and/or Associates.

Board Members:
Geraldine Richards – Head of School Early Years, Health & Care – Lewisham College
Amanda Hawkins – Member of the Board of Governors of The British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

LC&CTA Training Director

Chris Brown – Responsible for the overall and general Course & Training Course development of the organisation

LC&CTA Finance Director

Juanita Harriot – Responsible for the Financial Management of the organisation

Associate Trainers

Provide training on our various courses; Counselling Skills & Counsellor Training

Associate Counsellors

Provide counselling for our students who are in counsellor training and when it is deemed necessary by a tutor for students studying on the lower grade courses

Associate Supervisor, Training Courses

Overall and general Clinical responsibility for the sound Client Practice offered by the ‘in training’ Counsellors on our training courses.

Associate Supervisors

Overall Clinical responsibility for the safe and ethical practice of our Associate Counsellors.

LC&CTA is in contractual agreement with the College which provides us with:

  • Quality Assurance Inspection of our Courses
  • External Moderation of our customised courses
