This specialist CPD programme explores how Autism and ADHD may influence communication, identity, emotional regulation, relationships and the therapeutic process. It will consider masking, sensory experiences, individual differences and the ways counsellors can adapt their approach to support a more accessible and collaborative therapeutic relationship.

Through discussion, case examples and reflective activities, participants will explore therapeutic connection, relational difficulties, rupture and repair, and the importance of working ethically within their professional competence.
